The Return to Budapest

Today our vacation in Vienna came to an end, and we returned to the comfort of math in Budapest. But before we went, we made a couple last minute memories. A few of us made a second attempt to ride the Vienna Ferris Wheel, but again we found it to be closed. Fortunately, we found a large race was being held nearby, so we enjoyed watching people run intensely as we ambled along admiring the scenery and the racers' dedication to running.

After that, we tried for the third time to find an ice skating rink, and we were finally successful! We spent the rest of the morning enjoying ourselves on the ice, which was very fun.

Following ice skating, we navigated our way back to Budapest on a long train ride. When we arrived it was time for a big dinner at the For Sale Pub, where we ate so much only half of us were able to get ice cream later.

To wrap the day up, many of us ate some cake at office hours to celebrate Nick turning 19 (a prime number) yesterday. Now it's time to finish homework and prepare for our last week in this beautiful country.

Best wishes from Budapest!
